Kiesanowski and Kerdemelidis wedding trip
From: David Roughan Sent: Tuesday, 24 November 2009 11:00 a.m. To: NZLANDROVEROwners@yahoogroups.com Subject: My "Special Edition" Earnslaugh Defender 90 Thanks for the warm welcome to my last email. No.... meeting John Hickey & losing my Defender down the bank (handbrake failed to hold!) were not linked. Here are some of the photos requested of my "special edition" Defender 90 as it is now on Earnslaugh at almost 40,000kms & as it was in January 1999 at 35,000kms. The personalized plate has been worn over the years by half of the Landrovers I have owned David Roughan, Principal NORTHLAW Lawyers and Notary TEL: +64 9 435 2261 FAX: +64 9 435 4250 MOB: +64274 402 105 POSTAL: PO Box 4333, Kamo 0141, Whangarei, New Zealand ------------------------------------ My property is VERY steep with no margin for error. The tyres are fitted the way they are to give me the same amount of traction going backwards as I have going forwards. Of course I lose a little bit by not having them both going in the same direction. None of the panels have been replaced. They have just been put back into shape as best we could without trying to get it too pretty. A replacement windscreen has been fitted. The tops of the 3 doors have been cut off. The pretty useless brush bar has not been put back on. The winch is on my Series IIA now. New frames for the soft top have been made up just covering the roll bars I put in. It looks quite neat with the soft top off. I haven`t tried to get it right for being road registered again. Its doing a great job as it is. David Roughan, Principal NORTHLAW Lawyers and Notary![]()
