Kiesanowski and Kerdemelidis wedding trip
c1910 'Millennium' Vintage Bicycle Stand Early turn of the century cast iron bicycle stand made by Lake & Elliot. This company made a vast array of tools for bicycle, motorcycles and early cars, I can provide a digital copy of the 1910 catalog from which I've taken the image to the winning bidder. This model was made for a long time so I can't definitely date it. It's early and if you have an old bike you absolutely need this stand in your life. Using an inferior modern alternative could cause permanent damage. Probably. I only have the head and have only ever had the head, I've included a 1.5m length of thick wall galvanised tube that will make a suitable upright member, consider this a freebie because I won't be able to post it, it's too long unless you can come up with some arrangements yourself. This thing is heavy and solid, it weight just shy of 10kg on it's own, imagine how many top tubes have been crushed by ham fisted mechanics over the decades. The wheel has issues, the cast spokes have all broken at some point and have been badly welded on a Friday afternoon. Welding cast iron is a real skill. I would 'V' them all out and braze them up again. It's still functional as it is and it's certainly not going to come apart. Banana for scale - not included, I just ate it. ------------------------- https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/marketplace/sports/cycling/bike-accessories/racks-stands-storage/listing/3900858992![]()
